The Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI) has established a dedicated Sustainable Energy Communities (SEC) Network. The SEC Network is a support framework designed to enable a better understanding of how communities use energy and to save energy across all sectors. The Network’s core purpose is to catalyse and support a national movement of SECs operating in every part of the country.
SECs are now being encouraged to enter into a 3-year Partnership Agreement with SEAI. Over this three year timeframe, SECs will have access to SEAI technical supports to help to establish a baseline Energy Master Plan (EMP), identify energy saving opportunities, implement a tailored program of activities for the community, monitor the program’s progress and review accordingly.

The objective of this Request for Tender is to establish a framework of suitably qualified and experienced consultants to carry out the necessary analysis and prepare Energy Master Plans for Sustainable Energy Communities (SEC) located within the Dublin City Council area.
