Maynooth University wishes to ascertain the marketplace for the provision of student medical services including the provision of a General Practitioner to manage its surgery service for students during term time.

The contracting authority has previously tendered for these services previously in 2020 (2020/S 213-522246 refers). No suitable tenders were submitted. The contracting authority could use the Negotiated Procedure without a Call for Competition in these circumstances. However, the contracting authority's preference is to engage the market through a competitive tendering process. Given the severe disruption caused by the Covid-19 emergency and the effect this having on the provision of services in this market, the contracting authority wishes to utilise the accelerated procedure to support its efforts to identify a suitable supplier.
