The project is intended to be tendered in two phases as two separate contracts (phase 1 and phase 2). The shortlisted contractors from this pre-qualification process will be invited to tender for both phases. It is intended that phase 1 will be tendered initally and it is intended to tender phase 2 within a 12 to 24-month period afterwards.
The site for this proposed residential scheme is located in Crokers Hill, Kennyswell Road, Kilkenny City, with each phase being as follows:
Phase 1: Residential development involving the demolition of a small disused pumping station and shed and the construction of 51 units, community facility and all associated access roads, services, car parking, boundary treatment and landscaping.
Phase 2: Residential development involving the construction of 35 units and all associated access roads, services, car parking, boundary treatment and landscaping.
