Tenders are sought for the supply, delivery and installation of a helium recovery and recycling liqueifier facility for the quantum matter research group in the Department of Physics, University College Cork (UCC). We employ two liquid 4He cryostats, each providing the cryogenics for a quantum microscope based on the operation of a 3He/4He dilution refrigerator. Each cryostat is anticipated to evaporate 10 litres of liquid 4He per day during normal operations. Therefore, we require the capability to recover all the 4He gas exhausted from both cryostats, store that gas in intermediate container(s) if necessary, clean the gas to the highest possible purity, then liquefy all the 4He gas by re-cooling it to 4.2 Kelvin, and finally store the liquid 4He until required for use. For this function, we seek to purchase a cryofree helium recovery and recycling liqueifier facility.
