The Teaching Council

The objective of this procurement process is to establish a single party framework agreement to supply/develop, implement, host, maintain and support a teacher registration system to replace the registration system currently being used by the Teaching Council.
The existing system has many manual touchpoints and there is a recognised need to digitize and streamline the process of registration as much as possible. A system which incorporates a feature rich, self-service portal, accessible from all device types, including mobile/tablet is required. The ultimate ambition is to have a solution in place which allows for improved service delivery to candidates and teachers while enabling more efficient use of Teaching Council resources.

Short description:
This Qualification Questionnaire is issued by the Teaching Council for the purposes of:
— obtaining sufficient information to enable the Teaching Council to evaluate the suitability of candidates,
— providing information to tenderers who may be interested in applying to pre-qualify and proceed to the tender stage for the provision of a Teacher Registration Replacement System and Related Services.
The intention is to shortlist candidates to be invited to participate in the Dialogue Stage. It is intended that following evaluation, 5 candidates, assuming receipt of an adequate number of responses from suitably experienced and qualified organisations, will be invited to participate in the dialogue phase of the procurement.
