The library and student support complex will sit at the heart of the new Grangegorman campus, addressing a large plaza and commanding views over the city.
The overall Phase 1 development is approximately 12 580 m in area. The development consists of 9 505 m of new build construction with the balance comprising the retained elements of the North House East and North House West protected structures (Planning Ref GSDZ2346/19).
The scope of works will include the demolition of existing redundant structures including the stand alone North House Annexe, changing rooms and extensions to the existing North House buildings.
