Changes Other additional information
In accordance with Article 89.1 (b) of the Utilities directives 2014/25/EU,
A change of supplier would potentially introduce new train planning software that may possess different technical features compared to the current system. Consequently, this disparity in technical characteristics would render the new software incompatible with the new TMS system. Integrating new software with the TMS would pose technical challenges, requiring a repetition of the recently completed TPS-TMS integration design work. The implementation of the TMS project would be delayed, as a new TPS system would require integration design work to restart.
A significant amount of technical data is required to set-up and operate a TPS system. The current TPS provider has customized and integrated their system to align with Iร's specific needs and existing infrastructure. Extending the contract allows the company to maintain the benefits of this tailored system, avoiding potential disruptions or compatibility issues that may arise from switching to a new provider.
