Maynooth University proposes to engage in a competitive process for the establishment of 4 Multi-Party framework agreements in 4 Lots for the delivery of Academic Support Services for Students with Disabilities. Maynooth University wishes to enter into Multi-Party framework agreements with two framework members per agreement for each of the following services:
Lot 1: Academic Personal Assistants,
Lot 2: Irish sign language interpreters,
Lot 3: Academic Note taking,
Lot 4: Psychology-Led Academic Support Programme for Students with Significant Learning Needs.
Services are required to enable students with disabilities to participate fully in all aspects of college life at Maynooth University. This includes, but is not limited to, participation in lectures, tutorials, laboratories, field trips and work placement settings.

Provision of a psychology-led academic support programme for students with significant learning needs. The programme will predominantly work with students with ADD/ ADHD, students on the autistic spectrum and students with a mental health condition. Support provided will include a full assessment of need, caseload management and coordination of support, and delivery of a tailored programme of academic support for students registered with the programme. Essential requirements for the delivery of this programme will be a background and expertise in the area of mental health.

The programme will be delivered on-site in the Disability Office at Maynooth University. It is anticipated that two Assistant Psychologists will be required to deliver the programme. Support will be provided from 9:00-17:30 Monday-Friday. Some flexibility will be required outside these hours. Support will be provided five days per week for the full academic year (September-June). Some support will be required in July and August although exact arrangements have yet to be confirmed.

Duties: Tenderers must be able to supply one to two suitably qualified persons to provide a psychology-led academic support programme for students with significant learning needs registered with the Disability Office at Maynooth University. They will work with students with disabilities and staff in the Disability Office to support the transition, retention and progression of students supported through the programme.

2) This is the sole call for competition for this service.
3) The contracting authority will not be responsible for any costs, charges or expenses incurred by candidates or tenderers.
4) Contract award will be subject to the approval of the competent authorities.
5) It will be a condition of award that tenderers are tax compliant.
6) If for any reason it is not possible to admit to the framework agreement one or more of the tenderers invited following the conclusion of this competitive process, or having awarded a contract under the framework agreement the appointed service provider fails to meet their obligations, the contracting authority reserves the right to invite the next highest scoring tenderer to join the framework agreement and deliver the contract as appropriate to the circumstances pertaining to the framework.

7) At its absolute discretion, the contracting authority may elect to terminate this procurement process, the framework agreement or any contract awarded under the framework agreement at any time.
8) Without prejudice to the principle of equal treatment, the contracting authority is not obliged to engage in a clarification process in respect of tender responses with missing or incomplete information. Therefore, tenderers are advised to ensure that they return fully completed tender responses in order to avoid the risk of elimination from the competition.
