The construction of a new Palliative Care Unit & Ward Block at University Hospital
Waterford which is an operational acute hospital. The proposed works of
approximately 7 900 m2 comprise of Palliative Care in Patient accommodation on
lower ground floor, Palliative Care Day Care Services at ground floor, 3 floors
of general single en-suite single rooms and a roof level plant room enclosure.
