Currently the IPS maintain a network of 4 000+ analogue CCTV cameras which connect to digital video recorders via co-axial cable plus a full IP camera system which is located in the new Cork Prison. The footage from all cameras is retained on local storage for 31 days, after which time the footage is over-written.
This tender will procure a CCTV system to replace the existing outdated Video Management System (VMS) and certain related hardware (Cameras, recorders, etc.) and provide maintenance cover for the entire system (Legacy and New).
