The Contracting Authority invites tenders for an end to end waste management service to include skips, skip transportation and waste disposal services for a period of 5 years maximum.
The quantity of street waste collected by the contracting authority per annum is approximately 6 000 tonnes. This contract is for the supply and transport of skips and the disposal of the waste therein.
The requirement is for skips of varying sizes between 12-35 cubic yards in capacity. The material being disposed of is street cleaning material (made up mainly of road sweeping material). The contract will include the provision of the required skips and the taking away and replacement of same, the transportation services of the skips and the disposal of the waste in accordance with applicable regulations and legislation.
