Following the enactment of the State Airports (Shannon Group) Act, 2014, Shannon Group plc. was incorporated on 29.8.2014 and the Group was formally established on 5.9.2014.
The Group brings together Shannon Airport Authority Limited (‘Shannon Airport’), Shannon Commercial Enterprises Limited (‘Shannon Commercial Properties’, formerly known as Shannon Development), Shannon Castle Banquets & Heritage Limited (‘Shannon Heritage’) together with the International Aviation Services Centre (‘IASC’), a strategic business unit. Today the Group employs over 600 people in high season across a range of locations throughout the mid-West region.
Shannon Group is seeking proposals from mobile phone service providers for the provision of on-going mobile phone service including supply of devices and account management.
The successful company will provide maintenance (under warranty); including upgrades and replacements to all mobile phone equipment and also maintain an inventory of equipment in use at Shannon Group.
The successful company will be required to provide a hands-on account management approach and high quality service provision.
