Iarnród Éireann (IÉ) has a requirement for transportation and haulage services for abnormal / heavy loads involving the movement of equipment, parts etc. between depots and suppliers in Ireland, UK and mainland Europe.

IÉ are therefore seeking applications from suitably qualified and experienced companies to participate in a Pre-qualification process to establish a multi-party Framework Agreement for Haulage Services.Companies accepted onto the Framework will be expected to provide various types of transport vehicles including vehicles with crane / lifting equipment to carry:— Rails of various lengths (10, 12, 14, 18, on occasion 20 meters);— Pre-assembled track panels (up to 18 meters, over 2.6 meters wide);— Timber and concrete sleepers;— Porta cabins etc.;— Rail vehicle bogies;— Mineral Ore / Ballast;— Other abnormal loads.Given the range of locations across the country that the services may be required, the Framework will be divided into three 3 geographical Lots:Lot 1: Eastern RegionLot 2: Southern RegionLot 3: Western RegionThe duration of the Framework shall be 3 years with the option to extend by 1 year up to a maximum of 4 years.1 500 000
