Design, Installation and operation of CHP Plant at UCD

University College Dublin (UCD)

UCD requires the market to propose a solution for the design, installation, operation and maintenance of a CHP package that best suits UCD's goals as outlined. The primary goal of this project is to reduce UCD's energy consumption and provide long-term energy management solutions. It is likely that UCD will be entering into a long-term contract (maximum 15 years) with the successful candidate for the supply, commissioning and operation of new CHP high efficient plant, with an energy performance contract (EPC) component. In addition, the contract will also include the long-term operation and support services required for existing UCD owned CHP plant.
Any proposed system will be required to integrate successfully with UCD's existing energy infrastructure and energy demand in the most economical way.

Responses to the Questionnaire will be assessed in accordance with the selection criteria, weightings and minimum rules summarised in Section A of the document. The Contracting Authority will not conclude this reviewable public contract to which a standstill period applies in accordance with Irish Statutory Instrument SI 130 of 2010, until after the expiry of the standstill period which commences on the day following the date of notification of concerned candidates and tenderers.
