Electricity Supply Board (ESB) wishes to invite expressions of interest for the provision of application packaging services, to be delivered as required, for client (currently Windows 7 SP1), Windows Server 2008 R2 and terminal services (Citrix XenApp) environments. The service will include software integration, packaging, scripting (Powershell and VB), App-V conversion and any associated troubleshooting. The packaging role will continue to provide delivery via one sequenced application package for both client and terminal services platforms via App-V as per the current ESB process with applications deployed on to the Citrix environment or directly to a desktop or laptop client device via Microsoft SCCM.The candidates should provide the services of an application integrator to gather all the requirements for an application prior to packaging. This would include initial installation and testing on desired platform while liaising with ESB internal business staff, capturing any customisations or extra requirements, creation of documentation, conveying of instructions to packager, and managing final user acceptance testing of the packaged applications prior to passing to ESB staff for deployment.The candidate should be experienced in using AppDNA, Appsense and packaging using a minimum of APP V5.
