CIET carries approximately 14 000 tour passengers per annum with approximately 370 departures. Tours typically range in duration from 5 to 23 days and cover Great Britain and Ireland. CIET is seeking submissions from economic operators who are interested in participating in this procurement process and who, if successful, would be appointed onto a Framework Agreement for a period of 3 (three) years from January 2016, with an option to extend for a further period of 1 year. Framework members will have the opportunity to provide passenger services for the Scheduled Tour Programme for Great Britain and Ireland. Full details of the 2015 programme are available from the CIE Tours website http://www.cietours.com Customers are principally English speaking overseas clients. This is a non-mandatory notice as this procurement process falls outside the requirements of Directive 2004/17/EC. The process will be conducted largely in accordance with the negotiated procedure, but will avail of the non applicability of the requirement for a standstill period and the application of the Remedies Directive 2007.
