Cรณras Iompair ร‰ireann Tours โ€” (CIET) requires the services of competent / innovative bus / coach service providers to provide passenger services for their scheduled Tour Programme for a period of up to 3 years from January 2016 and an option to extend for a further 2 years on a year by year basis. The customers are principally English speaking overseas clients.
In terms of its Irish operation CIET carries approximately 26 000 scheduled tour passengers per annum with approximately 1 100 departures. Tours range in duration from 5-14 days cover in Ireland (North and South). Full details of the 2015 programme are available from the CIE Tours website http://www.cietours.com
Tour Operators drivers for Ireland must have Bord Failte accreditation badges.

Quantity or scope:
Full details will be outlined in the Invitation to Negotiate (ITN), it is proposed to appoint the members of the Framework Agreement by May โ€” June 2015 with a commencement date in January 2016. One company appointed to the Framework will be awarded the Irish Tour Services for the year one (Jan 2016 โ€” Jan 2017). CIET requirements for 2017 will be tendered only between those on the Framework Agreement in 2016 and likewise for services in 2018 and 2019. Ad-hoc tours will only be mini tendered throughout the life time of the contract between the Framework members on a requirement by requirement basis.
