Bus Hire Nationwide Qualification System [2014/2015 Annual Advertisement]
Iarnród Éireann (IÉ) has an ongoing operational requirement for the services of
Licensed Road Passenger Transport
(RPTOL) bus / coach service companies to provide planned or unplanned
passenger services as required. Due to the
uncertain nature of the requirement, IÉ has in place a Qualification System (QS)
to facilitate this requirement. Planned works
above a certain value may be subject to a tender process where the negotiated
procedure will apply. Companies interested
in being considered for inclusion to the panel, should complete all of the
attached document and submit all required
information to the address outlined in the PQQ document. Companies are
required to send copies of important information
such as, driver licences, CPC certs etc. Companies already appointed to the QS
do NOT need to re-submit the PQQ. As this
is a QS, approval to the QS does NOT guarantee companies any work
throughout the life of the QS. The QS will come to an
end in 2016 but will be refreshed annually until the end time. This is the refresh
for 2014/2015.
