Irish Water, on behalf of Ervia, plan to undertake the upgrade of the existing Foxes Den Water Treatment Plant (WTP) and to decommission the existing Cairns Hill WTP together with associated ancillary works as part of the Sligo and Environs Water Supply Scheme — Foxes Den/Cairns Hill Water Treatment Plants DBO Contract.
The planned works are necessary to facilitate the efficient supply of water to consumers while also eliminating water quality issues associated with the Cairns Hill WTP. The project will ensure compliance with EU Directives, Irish National Standards and Regulations relating to treated water for human consumption.
It is intended that the works will be implemented under a Design, Build and Operate (‘DBO’) Contract.

The questionnaire must be completed and returned to the address in I.1. above not later than 17:00 Tuesday 19.5.2015. The responses will be used to assist in drawing up a tender list. This process may also include interviews with candidates. Bord Gáis Éireann/ Ervia also reserves the right to contract with each member of the group on the basis of joint and several liability, or with one member of the group as a main contractor with a number of sub-contractors or on any other basis as Bord Gáis Éireann/Ervia considers appropriate.
