SOLAS

SOLAS, the Further Education and Training Authority was established in October 2013. It is responsible for funding, planning and co-ordinating training and further education programmes.
SOLAS has a staff complement of approximately 230 people operating from 27-33 Upper Baggot Street, Dublin 4.
The SOLAS Construction Training Unit which is part of Services to Business offers a range of construction regulated programmes for both the Public and Private sector.
The conditions in order for a candidate to qualify for participation in this Framework are given in this document.
Requirements:
CSCS Monitors/Mentors should have relevant and proven experience in construction, training and education, and have knowledge of the Construction Skills Certification.
Scheme:
Monitor/ Mentors for CSCS categories should have relevant knowledge and experience of equipment and machinery used in the CSCS programmes and the ability to assess their suitability.
