T.047/2013 - An Garda Síochána requires supply, installation, commissioning and maintenance of LAN speed WAN connectivity between its sites listed in Appendix 2
An Garda Síochána invites tenders for the supply, delivery, installation and maintenance of a diverse Wide Area IP Network in Garda Stations and premises throughout the Republic of Ireland. The proposed service should be cost effective, reliable and scalable.
The objective for An Garda Síochána in undertaking this procurement process is to ensure the most economical supply of a Wide Area IP Network to Garda Stations and Premises throughout the Republic of Ireland.
It is intended that this invitation to tender will give rise to a contract for three calendar years with the option to renew for a fourth and fifth year following a review. During the course of the contract, the successful Tenderer will be required to supply, install, commission and maintain the service. Prior to the award of contract, the chosen supplier may be required to demonstrate its ability of providing such bandwidth and the ability to maintain this service.
The successful supplier will be expected as part of this contract to:
— Supply, deliver and maintain proposed bandwidth between An Garda Síochána sites and - where required - Government Networks.
— Negotiate any access or way leaves independent of An Garda Síochána.
