Electricity Supply Board (ESB) will require a supply of components for their Corporate Network Infrastructure (LAN switches, VPN devices, Routers etc). Currently ESB has deployed a LAN/WAN infrastructure to approx 6000 users in approx 140 locations nationwide operating over Cisco devices. The WAN infrastructure comprises point to point connections and the use of a third party MPLS service. It is intended that the contract will provide for a drawdown arrangement, allowing ESB to call down requirements at regular intervals, and the ongoing maintenance of the items purchased. The contract will also cover the maintenance of existing Cisco network equipment in ESB nationwide locations.
