Research study report on 'Estimating the economic and social costs of inadequate housing'
In the context of Eurofound's project on 'Housing in Europe — the consequences of poor accommodation' (work programme 2014) it is proposed that a research study be carried out entitled 'Estimating the economic and social costs of inadequate housing'.
The objective of the proposed contract is:
1) to identify social and economic costs of inadequate housing; and
2) carry out an assessment of social returns on investment of selected policies and interventions; and therefore develop an understanding of costs of non-action and strengthen the focus on social returns on investment.
