Provision of cleaning services at the Dept of the Environment's Newtown Rd office, Wexford
The Contract will cover the daily cleaning of the Department of the Environment, Community & Local Government's Newtown Road office in Wexford. Cleaning must be carried out between 17:00 and 19:00. The Contractor shall attend daily, from Monday to Friday inclusive (excl. Bank Holidays). On arrival at the site, all cleaning personnel will be required to sign a register at reception and sign out on departure. All personnel calling to the site will be required to carry and display company identification cards containing a photograph. Other arrangements may be agreed following consultation. The 6,586 sqm building consists of a four-storey block and a three-storey block linked by a glass atrium. Built to accommodate 270, it currently has occupancy of circa 185 staff. The Department is the main tenant and shares the building with the Department of the Arts, Heritage & the Gaeltacht, the Department of Education & Skills, the Department of Social Protection and the Legal Aid Board. The contract covers all areas of the building, both occupied and unoccupied areas. The Department of the Environment, Community & Local Government is the Contracting Authority and its Accommodation Unit will oversee the contract on behalf of all organisations occupying the building.
