Undertaking Strategic Environmental Assessments (SEAs) for the proposed New Waste Management Plans for each of the three Waste Management Regions.2. Undertaking the preparation of Appropriate Assessments (AAs) including the preparation of Natura Impact Statements if necessary for each of the three waste mangement regions.1 & 2 should be prepared in accordance S.I. No. 435/2004 (amended by SI No 200 of 2011) which gives effect to Directive 2001/42/EC, the SEA Directive and the Habitats Directive (92/43/EEC) and S.I No. 477/2011 ( the European Communities (Birds and Natural Habitats) Regulations, 2011)which gives effect to the Habitats Directive (92/43/EEC).3. Undertaking the preparation of specific elements of the Waste Management Plans which are common to all three Waste Management Regions.This should be prepared in accordance with S.I. No. 137/1997 Waste Management (Planning) Regulations, 1997 and S.I No. 126 of 2011 European Communities (Waste Directive) Regulations, 2011 which gives effect to the Waste Framework Directive (2008/98/EC) .The scope of the Services includes all of the following as well as other related services:- Management of all stages of SEAs and AAs including scoping and preparation of documents as per details outlined in project particulars for all three Waste Management Regions.Provision of assistance to clients in relation to liaising with the Environmental Protection Agency and other relevant bodiesThe preparation of specific elements of the Waste Management Plans common to all three Waste Regions.
