Bord Na Mona
Bord na Móna is seeking Expressions of Interest for the
development of a Mechanical Treatment Facility (part of a
larger facility, for which planning permission has been
granted) which will be located on a Bord na Móna
landholding adjacent to the existing Drehid Waste
Management Facility in County Kildare, Ireland. The
Mechanical Treatment Facility will primarily process
residual municipal solid waste (MSW) from a combination
of two and three bin collections from household,
commercial and industrial sources. The design throughput
of the facility (expected to be between 150,000 TPA (tonnes
per annum) and 250,000 TPA) will be confirmed in the
subsequent Invitation to Tender stage of this procurement
process.
