The Department of Transport, Tourism and Sport (DTTAS) is currently preparing a Strategic Framework for Investment in Land Transport (SFILT).
This work will be conducted in the main by DTTAS's Economic and Financial Evaluation Unit (EFEU), with assistance from the NTA and other Government bodies where applicable.
Arising from this programme of work, the Department proposes to engage a consultant to provide the following services to the Department:
1. Transport planning and transport modelling,
2. Appraisal and evaluation of transport projects and programmes,
3. Project finance and funding mechanisms,
4. Land use planning and land use and transport interaction modelling,
5. Smarter travel interventions and sustainable modes,
6. Wider impacts of transport,
7. Economic growth theories and macroeconomic modelling.
