Eurofound — European Foundation for the Improvement of Living and Working Conditions

Eurofound is aiming at the establishment of a network of national and EU-level correspondents providing both scheduled (part 1) and ad hoc reporting (part 2) services. The network shall supply to the European Observatory of Industrial Relations and Working Conditions, to the European Monitoring Centre of Change in the field of employment and restructuring and contribute to further related social policy topics. The network will also assist Eurofound in reaching out to its stakeholders.
Part 1 refers to scheduled reporting services. This part embraces services of a recurring nature which will be scheduled throughout the year. For these services a direct service contract will be awarded to each correspondent.
Part 2 refers to on-request reporting services. This mainly includes services with a less than annual frequency and services where the exact volume is not known in advance. For these services a framework service contract will be awarded to each correspondent. Services may then be requested by Eurofound ad hoc and have to be provided by the correspondent.
This tender's objective is to secure provision of the reporting services covering Croatia, Latvia and Romania. It follows the recent unsuccessful open tender which has not resulted with the contract awards for the above listed countries (OJ 2013/S 116-196913). As the whole network of correspondents is to become operational as of 1.3.2014, it is of paramount importance for Eurofound to secure provision of the reporting services from all EU Member States. In order to achieve this objective the current accelerated negotiated procedure is launched.
