Poolbeg CG15 and CG14 are Siemens manufactured V94.2 Gas Turbines Version 3 with HR3 burners and a firing temperature of 1060 Celsius.
Both Units completed 100 000 EOH LTE Inspections in 2011. HGP inspections are due in 2015 and there is a requirement for some gas turbine capital spares.
Note ESB is seeking information on the following three options for supply of parts.
1. New OEM V94.2 / SGT5-2000E capital spares manufactured by Siemens or Ansaldo will be considered.
2. New Non OEM V94.2 / SGT5-2000E equivalent capital spares will be considered.
3. Refurbished V94.2 / SGT5-2000E Siemens or Ansaldo manufactured turbine section blades and vanes that have been refurbished after just one HGP interval will be considered.
