Short description:
Lot 1: This is a project to specify, source and implement a turnstile and 3M RFID security system to control access to the James Hardiman Library (JHL). A new entrance to the JHL is being constructed in the atrium of the Arts Humanities Social Science Research Building (AHSSRB). The system will use staff, student and visitor campus cards for access and will produce and encode JHL visitor cards as well as ad-hoc reports on studentโ€ฆ
โ€ฆ attendance.The project will procure a supplier to deliver a live pilot and a follow-on production implementation of the LTSA system. ISS & JHL staff will jointly oversee & manage the sourcing and implementing of the LTSA system with help from the Buildings Office.
