This competition concerns the management, maintenance and operation of Grange Castle Golf Club by way of a concession arrangement. The subject-matter of this competition constitutes a service concession, in that the successful economic operator will be remunerated for the delivery of the required services to the public through the management, maintenance and operation of the Golf Club. Candidates are reminded that the economic risk inherent to the delivery of the required service will rest fully with the successful concessionaire. South Dublin County Council offers no guarantee, express or implied, regarding the commercial viability or profitability of this concession. It is emphasised that the successful concessionaire will be expected to propose a financial contribution, payable to South Dublin County Council, for the right to exploit the service. The tender document issued to successful candidates will contain further detail in this regard, while it is anticipated that the precise nature of the contribution will be discussed with tendering parties over the course of the competition.
