(a) as the subject matter of this competition is sports related - i.e. Annex IIB services - this competition is not subject to all of the provisions of the EU Procurement Directive 2004/18/EC. The Turf Club is
publishing this competition in the OJEU only to ensure the fullest degree of advertisement.
(b) the Turf Club shall, at contract stage, insist that:
(i) all members of the Candidate (if any) be jointly and severally liable towards the Turf Club; and
(ii) the Candidate shall comply with:
(A) the requirements and standards listed in the guide of the International Laboratory Accreditation Co-operation โ โAccreditation Requirements and Operating Criteria for Horseracing Laboratories' (โILAC-G7โ); and
(B) the provision of the International Agreement on Breeding, Racing and Wagering of the International Federation of Horseracing Authorities (โIFHAโ) (see http://www.ifhaonline.org/wageringDisplay.asp?
section=5), and in particular Clause 18 of Article 6 of said Agreement.
