Framework Agreement with Single Operator for EPA/DCENR/NIEA Research Programme related to the Environmental Impacts of Unconventional Gas Exploration & Extraction (UGEE) for a Maximum of 4 Years
The EPA on behalf of the Department of Environment, Community and Local Government (DECLG), the Department of Communications, Energy and Natural Resources (DCENR) and the Northern Ireland Environment Agency (NIEA) is seeking to engage a single operator to undertake a research programme on the environmental and human health impacts of Unconventional Gas Exploration & Extraction (UGEE).
An integrated solution is required to deliver research in three main areas:
— Baseline Characterisation;
— UGEE projects/operations, Impacts & Mitigation Measures;
— Regulatory Framework for Environmental Protection
