BE/SV/01/03/2013 - Provision of Road Passenger Services-Eastern Region
The Contracting Authority proposes awarding a Contract for the provision of Road Passenger Transport Services over a 3 year period within the Eastern Region. The Eastern Region consists of the Greater Dublin Area, Wicklow, Kildare, Meath, Dundalk, Drogheda, Cavan and Monaghan.
The Contracting Authority reserves the right to extend this Contract(s) for a further period of 12 or 24 months. In order to be considered for participation in a tendering competition for this contract, suitable qualified interested parties must complete and submit the pre-qualification questionnaire provided. Following receipt of tenders, Bus Eireann may negotiate as necessary with one or more tenderers and will award the contract the most economically advantageous offer received. The purpose of this Pre Qualification Questionnaire is to obtain sufficient information to enable the Contracting Authority to evaluate the suitability of applicants with the necessary resources and capacity to achieve the contract objectives. The Contracting Authority will define the age and specification of vehicle required for the services. Only coaches with a minimum capacity of 47 seats and up to 10 years of age are required. Coaches which fall outside this requirement will not be considered.
