RTE, the Irish National Public Service Broadcaster, wishes to procure a live subtitling service to cover news, weather, sport, current affairs, entertainment, lifestyle and religion to provide access to viewers who are deaf and hard of hearing. Expressions of interest are requested from companies who feel they have competencies in this area.

Suitability to pursue the professional activity:

Interested candidates should forward the following information:

(a) Details of previous experience on equivalent or similar services supplied over the past 3 years with supporting contacts from reference customers;

(b) If interested candidates cannot demonstrate experience on equivalent or similar projects/works then a more detailed description will be required.

Also note: after the expression of interest stage and at the invitation to tender stage, each tenderer will be required to complete and sign at the appropriate management level a Declaration of Bona Fides. This attests to their position in relation to bankruptcy, professional conduct/misconduct, payment of social security and taxes, supply of information in relation to health and safety, quality assurance as well as misrepresentation in supplying information relating to the criteria for qualitative selection for contracts.

(a) Evidence of financial turnover for the last 3 years and a current auditors statement;

(b) Evidence of current public and employer liability insurances and other applicable insurance cover;
