The LIT reserves the right to exercise the option referred to in Article 31(4)(b) of the Public Sector Directive / Article 32(5)(f) of the European Communities (Award of Public Authorities Contract) Regulations 2006 (S.I. No. 329 of 2006) to award to the Contractor new works consisting in the repetition of similar works to those entrusted to the contractor, provided such works are in conformity with a basic project for which a Contract was awarded. This option may only be used by the LIT during the three years following the conclusion of a Contract under each framework.
