IT external service provision for certain WAN infrastructure implementation
The Department of Social Protection, invites tenders for IT external service provision to plan and implement the integration of external agency offices into its wide area network.
As part of the Government’s Transforming Public Services programme the Department of Social Protection (DSP) has assumed responsibility for the Community Welfare Service of the Health Service Executive and the Employment and Community Employment Services of FAS.
A considerable number of CWS and FAS offices will transfer in their entirety to the DSP and will be fully integrated into the department’s WAN.
All the existing ICT equipment is transferring to the DSP. Where transferring equipment does not meet the DSP minimum specifications it will be considered for replacement from the department’s own stocks. The successful bidder will not be required to supply equipment.
