IT consultancy support for the design, development & implementation of a new www.welfare.ie web site

The Department of Social Protection is seeking tenders for IT consultancy support to:
โ€” Design and develop a new, accessible www.welfare.ie web site, with a suitable information architecture and graphic design, which incorporates the full range of services delivered by the Department,
โ€” Design and develop a dedicated area within the site for jobseekers, which will include links to the employment and community services currently provided on the www.fas.ie and www.jobsireland.ie web sites, as well as information on income support schemes for people of working age,
โ€” Design and develop a new mobile version of the www.welfare.ie web site,
โ€” Provide a content management system, utilising Microsoft Sharepoint Server 2010 (MSS 2010) that meets the Departmentโ€™s needs,
โ€” Plan and implement the required technical infrastructure, including the build of a server farm to support, at the minimum, production and testing environments and also develop a comprehensive backup strategy for the new web site,
โ€” Develop and deliver training to Departmental staff to allow them maintain both content on the web site and the technical infrastructure developed as part of this project,
โ€” Migrate content from the existing www.welfare.ie website and also from other sites listed at Section 3.10.1 to the new site and also provide for syndication of selected content from the www.citizensinformation.ie site,
โ€” Provide project management support, including a project manager and project team, to assist in delivering and implementing the project by the required project completion date specified,
โ€” Maintain and provide support for the further development of the new site for a period of three years.
