Design Team Members for NRH Hospital New Build Project
The National Rehabilitation Hospital are planning the construction of a new healthcare building.
This proposed building will provide for 120 bed ward accommodation with ensuite facilities, and an environment that will accommodate programme specific integrated therapy spaces on each ward, living and social spaces, and ward clinical ancillary facilities.
The proposed building will be in the region of 18 000 m2 overall and will be multi-storey. The building will provide direct, accessible and appropriate linakges with the adjacent existing hospital building/facilities.
The National Rehabilitation Hospital now wish to individually appoint the members of a design team for the project. Design team members required include Architect (including Employers Representative and Project Supervisor Design Process roles), Quantity Surveyor, Mechanical & Electrical Engineer, Civil & Structural Engineer and Project Manager. The services will typically include taking the brief and engaging with the client to clarify the requirements, obtaining statutory approvals, preparation of detailed design and tender documentation, management of the tender process, administration of the works contract, cost control including agreement of final accounts, management of the handover process including the provision of handover documentation to the client and all required interaction and reporting to the client throughout the process etc.
