Survey and assessment of the conservation status of a rep. sub-sample of IE sand dune systems

Tenders are invited from suitably qualified and experienced parties to undertake:
a) An evaluation of the monitoring methodology used in the coastal monitoring project (Ryle et al. 2009) and an adjustment of the targets used, in consultation with NPWS.
b) A field survey of a representative sample of Irish sand dune systems to validate the findings of the Coastal Monitoring Project and to monitor any changes in the conservation status of all of the sand dune habitats present at each of the sites.
c) An updated assessment of the conservation status of Irish sand dune habitats.
