Acquisition of a New Rubber Tyred Gantry Crane.
The Port of Cork Company has an urgent requirement for the supply and commissioning of a new rubber Tyred Gantry Crane. The basic requirements are:
Height: 1 over 5;
Width: 7 boxes wide and Truck Lane;
Lifting Capacity: 40 tonne under spreader;
Power: electricially driven;
Delivery: to Ringaskiddy, Co. Cork, Ireland.
In order to meet operational requirements the supply, delivery and commissioning of the New Rubber Tyred Gantry Crane will need to be completed by the 31.3.2012.
Any parties interested in supplying the New Rubber Tyred Gantry Crane which can meet the above requirements should send a completed application covering the information requested in this notice to Denis Healy, Manager Engineering Services, Port of Cork Company, Custom House Street, Cork by the 7.11.2011 at 12 noon local Irish time.

Economic and financial standing:
(a) Candidates must provide information on turnover and profitability and must demonstrate their turnover exceeds Euro 1 million.
(b) Candidates must provide information on insurances in place - in particular public, employers and product liability insurances.
(c) Candidates must be tax compliant and either provide information in tax clearance certificate from the Irish Revenue Commissioners or evidence of application for same. These criteria will be assessed on a pass/fail basis.
(d) Candidates must supply information on their health and safety policy - assessed on pass/fail basis;
(e) Candidates must supply information on their quality assurance systems whether in-house or 3
(f) Candidates must demonstrate previous experience on the delivery of at least three similar cranes in the past twelve months - this will merit 100 % of the evaluated score - to this end please provide information on:
(i) client name;
(ii) crane type and size;
(iii) crane value;
(iv) delivery dates;
(iv) contact details for referees.
