Provision of unified communications and associated services - bord gais networks

Bord Gais Eireann

Bord Gáis Eireann wishes to enter into a framework agreement for the supply of unified communications equipment (UC) and associated support services. The scope of the equipment and applications covers: IP (Internet protocol) voice telephony; line and trunk side voice recording; unified messaging integrated into voice mail; and integration with mobile data and voice networks; integration with commercially available third party office communications software applications through session initiated protocol (SIP). The services will cover technical support for the equipment and applications. It is currently anticipated that the contract will be for a minimum of a three year (3) period with an option to further extend annually for a period of up to two (2) years. A pre-qualification questionnaire will be issued to all candidates who respond to this notice. Expressions of interest should be addressed in writing and sent via email for the attention of the networks procurement manager to cwhite@bge.ie. The questionnaire will cover the financial, economic and technical capacity of the candidates. The questionnaire must be completed and returned to the address in I.1. above not later than 17:00 hrs on Monday, 21.3.2011. The responses will be used to assist in drawing up a tender list for the framework agreement. This process may also include interviews with candidates. Bord Gáis Éireann also reserves the right to contract with each member of the group on the basis of joint and several liability, or with one member of the group as a main contractor with a number of sub-contractors or on any other basis as Bord Gáis considers appropriate.
