An Post National Lottery Company (The National Lottery) is licensed to operate the National Lottery by the Minister for Finance on the Ministerโ€™s behalf in accordance with the National Lottery Act 1986, with the sole focus of raising money for good causes around Ireland. The National Lottery provide world-class, exciting and engaging lottery games such as Lotto, EuroMillions and Scratch Cards. Since the National Lottery was launched, over 3.6 billion Euros has been raised for good causes. This level of funding has made a significant difference to communities, projects and individuals in the areas of Youth, Sports, Recreation, Amenities, Health, Welfare, Arts, Culture, National Heritage and the Irish Language.
The company have a requirement for Point of Sale (Scratch Card) Dispensers and associated products and services in 2012. The contract will be for a period of 3 years (commencing 1st January 2012) with an option to extend for a future two 1 year extensions. Please note that all contractual arrangements will be subject to the National Lottery Licence. The present licence expires on 31st Dec 2011.
The identified supplier will be required to provide the complete range of services for ticket dispensers and associated products from initial product design and manufacture to storage, installation and support services.
Additional accessories, products and services may be required by the NLC on an ongoing basis.
Both the product and service requirements are in response to the changes and requirements in the Retail Market and over the lifetime of the Framework, different versions, associated products and services may be sought from the supplier.
