Fáilte Ireland, in co-operation with Dublin City Council and Dublin Tourism, hereby requests proposals from interested and experienced event promoters for the production and promotion of a New Year’s Festival in Dublin, in accordance with the objectives of Fáilte Ireland, as outlined in the request for tender document available for downloading from www.etenders.gov.ie.

In order to assist with the establishment of a major annual Dublin New Year’s festival and achieve the tourism, economic and civic objectives set out above, a cash subsidy of 100 000 EUR incl. VAT will be made available in year 1.This budget consists of 70 000 EUR provided by Fáilte Ireland and 30 000 EUR provided by Dublin City Council. The cash investment by both Fáilte Ireland and Dublin City Council in years 2 and 3 of this contract is not expected to increase and may decrease depending on an annual review of the contract and on the availability of funding to both agencies.
