Flast Butt Welder
Iarnród Éireann has a requirement to procure a Flash Butt Welder for its Depot in Portlaoise.
The Welder is to be incorporated into its existing Continuous Welding Rail Line.
The Welding Unit should include the following:
1. Weld various sections into long welded rails. The range of rail sections to include 50kg, 54kg, 60kg, etc, new and used rails.
2. Precise vertical and horizontal alignment of rail ends.
3. Automatic deburring of welds.
4. Fire Suppression System.
