Environmental services-road sweeping and associated cleansing services contract
South Dublin County Council seeks tenders for road sweeping throughout the Council area- in residential/commercial areas, roads and motorways.
The contract for these services will initially be for one year, with the possibility of extending the contract on a year by year basis after that at the sole discretion of the Council. The total duration of the contract and any extensions granted will not exceed 5 years in total.
The contract will commence on 2.2.2012. The service will be required in residential and commercial areas of South Dublin County and will include all motorway slip roads, dual carriageways, main roads, housing estate roads and industrial estate roads within the Council area of administration. In addition to road sweeping the contract will also include full cleaning on all roads, footpaths, traffic islands and medians, grass margins and cycle lanes within the extent of the roadway. The contract will also include cleaning and testing of all gullies and weed control on all roads, footpaths traffic islands and medians, and cycle lanes within the extent of the roadway, leaf removal additional to normal programmed works etc.
