The provision of a pilot launch for the Port of Cork (Port of Cork Company)
The Port owns and operates 2 pilot launches. The Port will usually keep pilot launches in service for approximately 15 years. Presently the launches are 5 and 14 years respectively. The Port of Cork Company now requires a new pilot launch which is to be designed and built to requirements of a classification society (to be appointed by POCC) and/or the Irish Department of Transport, Maritime section.
