The supply only of thirty (30) Automatic Identification System (AIS) shore side Base Stations to the Irish Coast Guard. All equipment offered must be CE approved, and suitable for use in the European Union and conform to EU Directives concerning Electromagnetic Compatibility. We are seeking to acquire a fully anechoic radio chamber that is optimised for the frequency range 1.0 to 86 GHz with particular attention to the 1.8-3.0 GHz, 24-31 GHz and 71-86 GHz frequency bands. The chamber is intended for low power uses (<100 watts emitted power). The chamber will be utilised for far-field and near-field antenna characterisation and over-the-air protocol testing for future 5G telecommunication systems. View the procurement »
