It is envisaged that the framework will be established with a maximum of 3 Agencies. Thereafter the services will be drawn down as contracts in accordance with the rules contained in the tender documentation.

Irish Lights has identified twenty-two (22) stations in its statutory and contract fleet of buoys which are suitable for the use by polyethylene buoys. Completely polyethylene buoys and polyethylene buoys with galvanized steel cores may both be considered. The purpose of this tender is to appoint one supplier for these buoys for the period of the procurement.
