Title attributed to the contract by the contracting authority: Framework Agreement for Engineering Consultancy Services Water Services Small Schemes. Monaghan County Council proposes to establish a framework agreement over a 3 year period to provide Engineering Consultancy Services for Water Services projects for small schemes throughout the County. The schemes will include water supply, waste water treatment and group water schemes with a Capital Works value typically between 100 000 eur and 1 000 000 eur. The services will typically include, but will not be limited to: Drinking Water Projects: — Audit / Preliminary Reports of facilities and distributions systems as per the project brief, — Distribution system & associated infrastructure strategic review and reporting, — Assessment of source protection and treatment measures associated with Cryptosporidium / E-coli / Arsenic & Manganese and other parameters, — Process design / treatment, filtration, disinfection, fluoridation (Review and Assessment), — Mechanical & Electrical works (instrumentation, communication, SCADA, HMI), — Design, procurement and supervision of the construction of watermains, valves, Reservoirs, booster pumping systems, — Preparation of Contract Documents in accordance with the requirements of the new forms of Government Contracts, — All necessary site surveys, drawings, Bills of Quantities and specifications in the delivery of the above, — Resident Site supervision and administration of works contracts, — Assisting in the delivery of projects to EPA licensing and MCC industrial discharge licensing requirements e.g. FOGs, — Assisting in the procurement and management of specialist Environmental Reporting requirements, — Fulfilling the role of Project Supervisor Design Process, — Hydraulic Modelling, — GIS mapping of all new infrastructure. — Audit / Preliminary Reports of treatment works and collection networks, — Collection system strategic review and reporting, — Treatment standards review, — Process design, — Mechanical & Electrical works, — Design, procurement and supervision of the construction of Sewage Treatment Works, Pumping stations, foul, combined & surface water pipelines and rising mains, — Preparation of Contract Documents in accordance with the requirements of the new forms of Government Contracts, — All necessary site surveys, drawings, Bills of Quantities and specifications in the delivery of the above, — Resident Site supervision and administration of works contracts, — Assisting in the delivery of projects to EPA licensing Requirements, — Assisting in the procurement and management of specialist Environmental Reporting requirements, — Fulfilling the role of Project Supervisor Design Process.
